I specialise in managing the property and financial affairs of people who are not capable of doing so themselves due to a brain injury; as well as Personal Injury Trust work.
Along with day-to-day management of an individual’s property and financial affairs, my role also includes working on large building projects for clients who require significant adaptation works done to their property; preparing various applications to the Court of Protection, including Statutory Will applications. I also work closely with our Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams to provide litigation support from a Court of Protection perspective. This includes managing interim payments for clients when a claim is still ongoing.
I can advise on Deputyships, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Statutory Wills and Personal Injury Trusts.
